Shipping Policy
You can have your order delivered by Canada Post, or pick it up from the shop.
Every item on Kara-Kata is sold and sent by the shop that lists it. You choose delivery or pickup at checkout, and that choice applies to the whole order. We deliver within Canada only.
What delivery costs
The delivery price is shown at checkout, before you pay. It is either a Canada Post price for your parcel and postal code, or a flat price set by the shop or by Kara-Kata. All prices are in CA$.
Delivery is free when the shop offers free delivery, or when you use a free-shipping code that covers your address. Pickup is always free.
How your order is sent
If your order has items from more than one shop, each shop packs and sends its part separately, so you may receive more than one parcel.
When a shop sends its part, you get an email with the Canada Post tracking number and link. You can also follow each parcel from My Orders in your account.
How long delivery takes
Delivery time depends on the Canada Post service you choose at checkout: Priority, Xpresspost, Expedited Parcel or Regular Parcel. Most parcels arrive within 1 to 5 business days after the shop sends them. Where Canada Post gives an estimate, it is shown next to each option at checkout.
Canada Post delivers mainly on weekdays, and remote addresses can take longer.
Pickup
At checkout, choose which of the shop's locations you would like to collect from. When your order is ready, we email you with the shop's pickup days and times. If the shop has not set pickup times, it will contact you to arrange one.
Please bring your order number when you collect your order.
